Welcome to the cookie information page (“Cookie Page”) for Beautiful Slides, Inc. Please read this Cookie Page together with our Privacy Policy. All terms capitalized in this Cookie Page are defined in the Privacy Policy.

TYPES OF COOKIES

As we explain in the Privacy Policy, a cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. When you visit or access our Sites or our Services, we (or certain third parties) may, by means of cookies, beacons, tags, scripts, and/or similar technologies, automatically collect technical information about the devices and software you use to access our Site and Services. This includes the type of Internet browser or mobile device you use, the website or source that linked or referred you to the Site or application, your IP address or device ID (or other persistent identifier that uniquely identifies your computer or mobile device on the Internet), the operating system of your computer or mobile device, and other similar technical information.

Why cookies? By definition, a web server has no memory. Cookies help fill this void by telling the server what it knows so that the user doesn't have to remember or start navigating the website all over again each time he or she visits it. For this to happen, a hosted website you are visiting, such as our Site, transfers a cookie file of the browser on your computer’s hard drive in order to enable the website to remember who you are and your preferences. This message exchange allows the server to use this information to present you with customized pages. So, for example, instead of seeing just a generic welcome page you might see a welcome page with your name on it.

Cookies serve different purposes: some are necessary to ensure optimal performance of the Site and Services (i.e., ‘session’ or ‘strictly necessary’ cookies), while others provide information about the Site and Services so that we may perform analytics or suggest additional features (i.e., ‘analytics’ or ‘tracking’ cookies).

First and foremost, as explained above, cookies help our Sites and Services work better so that you can have a flawless experience – like logging in easily, and moving from page to page, or from device to device, and basically allowing you to easily pick up where they left off.

Other cookies collect information about how visitors use our Site and Services – for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don't collect information that identifies a visitor. All of the data that these cookies collect is aggregated and used to improve our Site and Services.

There are cookies that collect information about your browsing habits in order to make advertising delivered to you more relevant to you and your interests. These are what we often call ‘tracking’ cookies. They are usually dropped by advertising networks with our permission. They remember that you have visited our Site (and others) and this information is shared with other organizations such as advertisers.

Lastly, you should also know that when you use our Site and Services, your device or browser may be sent cookies from third parties, for example when using embedded content and social network links. It's important for you to know that we have no access to or control over cookies used by these companies or third-party websites. We suggest you check the third-party websites for more information about their cookies and how to manage them.
